The AUA is one of the most vibrant associations in higher education. Our aim is to empower administrators in their HE careers by fostering a culture of open, positive discussions and collaboration, based on the principles of knowledge sharing.
Our publications are the physical extension of this approach, as they cater to a wide variety of members: administrators new to the sector, professionals transitioning into a different role or higher education veterans.
Perspectives: Policy and Practice in Higher Education Perspectives provides higher education managers and administrators with innovative material which analyses and informs their practice of management. The journal disseminate ideas which enhance the practical aspects of HE management and administration, further managers’ knowledge and understanding of developments within the environment and provides a platform for the exchange and internationalization of ideas in relation to the management of HE systems and institutions.
Newslink: Newslink is the AUA’s member magazine; designed to update and inform our ever expanding network with the very latest in member news and experiences, developments within the HE sector and all our future events. Newslink is your quarterly resource for policy, strategy, personal development and an overview of all the ‘big picture’ issues facing the higher education sector.
Good Practice Guides: Sharing and discussing good practice is a characteristic of all professions, and at the AUA our biggest resource is the collective wealth of experience and knowledge held by our members. Since 1986 we’ve been collecting and publishing this insight in our highly regarded series of Good Practice Guides.
