The details

This ‘one day plus’ intensive workshop incorporates practical and technical training, peer supported reflection and group coaching to help you identify and build on your presentation and public speaking style. Supplemented with post event one to one coaching, you will develop your skill set to create greater impact in your professional practice.

This will be a lively and practical day, involving fun and interactive exercises with a level of stretch and challenge designed to facilitate deep learning.

To maintain the potential for significant learning and development, delegate numbers for this workshop are limited.

“The course helped ENORMOUSLY; the small group format enabled me to practice techniques and exercises in a safe, supportive environment. The course covered the whole presentation cycle, from designing a compelling narrative, controlling nerves, presentation delivery and even how to stand to achieve maximum impact. Kenton is a wonderful trainer.”

“Really great day – I came away feeling positive about my presenting style but with things to work on. Would definitely recommend to colleagues. Kenton is a great trainer.”

Who is it for?

This is an intermediate level programme. It’s right for you if you want to improve your public speaking, whether that is through formal presentations to an audience, asserting your views around the board table, or boosting your confidence in day-to-day professional communication.

The programme will be tailored to the particular audience, however is likely to be of most value to those in, or aspiring to, a middle management role and who have some experience of formal presentation and contributing to meetings with more senior staff.

Learning outcomes

Following completion of the full programme you will be able to:

  • Critically reflect on your own approach to public speaking and presentation style
  • Apply stage presence and control
  • Employ and develop techniques to manage voice control and body message
  • Identify and address any ‘inner voice’ that limits your public speaking confidence
  • Self-identify areas for further development and improvement.
