About this Event

Are you thinking about career progression and development, but not sure where to start? This online interactive workshop will provide you with the space to reflect on your values and motivations and how they impact on the world of work. Using a variety of career planning tools, you will take stock of your skills and qualities, and the resources available to you to develop and take the next step. You will learn about the benefits of different mindsets and consider the reality of the current situation, and how you can make it work for you.

Steph O’Halloran

Learning & Development Consultant and AUA Consultant

Steph O’Halloran is a Learning & Development Consultant and AUA Consultant. She worked at the Open University, for over 20 years supporting managers and their teams to improve their effectiveness. During this time, she led a number of key institutional projects, including the development and implementation of a new Leadership Competency Framework and the ILM Team Leader programme.
She is a skilled facilitator of groups, and has worked with managers and teams on designing and delivering tailored workshops to meet specific challenges such as team mergers and restructures. Topics have included, among many, objective setting, problem solving, managing underperformance and, more recently, handling challenging conversations. Steph has a Masters in Human Resources and is CIPD qualified.
