About this Event
Join Charley for this practical session about planning effective workshops, particularly virtually using digital tools. Hear about the key principles of preparing a successful session and how to weigh up digital tools that can support you, before working in small groups to apply these principles in a fictional context. You’ll leave this session with knowledge and resources to help you plan your next brilliant workshop. We’ll also share some links to resources that you can take away for use after the workshop.
Suitable for anyone that is involved in planning and leading workshops or interactive meetings, or would like to improve this skill. If you’re interested in project management, delivering change, or even supporting groups of students, this session could be for you.
By the end of this session, delegates will be able to:
1. Learn the key principles of a successful workshop and how they can take these into account in their planning and preparation
2. Consider some of the digital tools available to support group activities, and what to consider when selecting which one to use
3. Work with others to apply the planning principles to a fictional context
