From the manufacturing floor of Japanese automaker Toyota to the busy offices of higher education in the UK, the lean thinking movement represents a set of versatile principles that can be applied in almost any working environment. This workshop focuses on the key elements of lean thinking, such as optimising the whole, eliminating waste and creating knowledge, and identifies ways in which they can be beneficial to HE administrators. It will provide you with a basis on which to build your experience and knowledge of lean and the tools and techniques for process and service improvement.

The day will cover:
