Essay Prize and Themed Issue: Managing change in an uncertain world | Perspectives
Perspectives invites submissions for a themed issue to be published during 2019 on the topic of ‘Managing change in an uncertain world’.
We encourage prospective authors to take a broad view and we hope to receive entries from colleagues working in various professional areas across the higher education sector. The work should be engaging and original, and essays that refer to practical experience are particularly welcomed.
With the support of the John Smith Group, we have a £1500 prize fund to be awarded by the Editorial Board to one or more submissions. We are looking for pieces that clarify the challenges of change management.
Essays must be no longer than 5,000 words, the original work of the author and must not be re-presentations of work that has already been published in any form. Only submissions that are exclusively for consideration by Perspectives will be valid.
Authors who work outside the UK are welcome to submit their work, provided its focus is on the UK higher education system. Multiple authorship is also welcomed but we reserve the right to use our prize fund as we see appropriate. We may also wish to recognise merit and make an award to the authors of more than one essay.

It assists our editorial process if prospective authors submit a brief expression of interest but this is not a requirement. Please send these as soon as possible to the Principal Editor of Perspectives via email at email@example.com.
Online submission is via the ScholarOne Manuscripts site (accessed through the Taylor and Francis webpages). All submissions will be automatically considered for our prize competition if eligible. The Editorial Board will make any rulings that may be necessary.
The closing date for submissions is 30 November 2018.
