Call For Session Proposals | AUA Autumn Conference
You are invited to submit a working session proposal for the Autumn Conference 2019, which will be held at The Queens Hotel in Leeds on Tuesday, 26 November 2019.
The focus of this year’s autumn conference is: Sustainability
This is a subject of growing importance to the HE sector and underpins key areas of activity. These include the financial sustainability of our institutions in a time of increasing challenge, the need to produce sustainable graduates ready for the modern workplace, our links with our local and regional communities through civic and public engagement, and the importance of sustainable leadership as we position ourselves for a period of unprecedented change. Ensuring an agile and resilient response in order to embed sustainable initiatives and working practices is essential for future success.
We are looking for a range of topics to showcase your knowledge and experience, and share examples of effective professional practice with colleagues from across the sector. This could be your opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and experiences across the AUA network.
To aid your thinking we’ve come up with some suggested themes:
- Doing more with less
- Innovation and adaptation
- Maintaining wellbeing
- Collaborative relationships
The AUA CPD Framework is at the centre of all our professional development activities. Please describe how your session supports up to three of our nine professional behaviours. Read more about the AUA CPD Framework.
