Call for Session Proposals
We are now inviting working session proposals for the Autumn Conference 2020 which will be held on Tuesday, 24 November 2020. For the first time ever, the conference is going to be held online, via Zoom.
The focus of this year’s Autumn conference is:
Future HE Professionals
We would like to invite delegates to continue the conversation and reflect further on the theme of our recent research on the Future HE Professionals. You can find out more here.
There are many challenges facing the sector right now, however, we have seen a great number of successes over the past few months, as everyone has shifted and adapted practice to a new way of working during very uncertain times.
Following the AUA’s research project on Future HE professionals earlier this year, we would like to welcome delegates to join the conversation.
We are looking for a range of sessions that discuss the needs, challenges and potential solutions as we move forward in these unchartered times. This is an opportunity to showcase your knowledge and experience and share examples of effective professional practice with colleagues from across the sector.
Potential areas include the following (please note that this list is not exhaustive):
- Embracing technology
- Changes to working practices
- Innovating and adapting
- Personal agility and resilience (wellbeing)
- New leadership and management challenges
The AUA CPD Framework is at the centre of all our professional development activities. Please describe how your session supports up to three of our nine professional behaviours. Read more about the AUA CPD Framework.
Submitting a session proposal:
Please read our brief guidance notes for submitting your session proposal, which provides further detail and practicalities. Once you are ready, you can submit your proposal below.
Closing date for receipt of session proposals is 5pm on Monday, 10 August.
